Seco DC dry-running rotary vane vacuum pumps/compressors have been specifically developed for paper handling in printing presses and postpress processing machines. They provide reliable vacuum to hold, move or transport paper. Blast air is also generated to separate individual sheets of paper from a stack. The vacuum levels can be matched exactly to the requirements of printing equipment, and may be adjusted for throughput speed and paper quality.

Technical specification
Rotary vane technology is synonymous with a robust, functional construction. Thanks to self-lubricating rotor vanes, no operating fluid is necessary, ensuring a completely dry compression. A standardized integrated inlet filter protects the Seco DC from contamination. Regulating valves for vacuum and blast air are also fitted as standard, allowing the Seco DC to be adjusted to the requirements of printing presses and post-press processing machines. A high-output cooling fan ensures efficient heat removal from the motor and pump casing. The blast air is cooled by an integrated heat exchanger. Seco DC 0063 – 0140 B/C are driven by an integrated electric motor, with an efficiency class of IE3.
